Many of my clients have not been professionally photographed before so here's what you can expect after you book your session.
A PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION
You’ll book your session date with payment of your session deposit and signed online contract. Next, we’ll schedule a phone date to plan the perfect session for your family. I understand that every family is unique, so please do get in touch if you have something special in mind.
I will get to know a bit about you, your family, your ideal session, and more. Together, we’ll select your session location and discuss what to wear and how to prepare for your shoot. I will be available to answer any questions that come up as we get close to your session date.
YOUR PORTRAIT SESSION
This is where the magic happens! The pre-session consultation gives me everything I need to know to shoot the photographs that you really want. I always take the time to connect with the children to make sure they are comfortable with me and my camera. I make sure to leave time for breaks and cuddles so that the process is stress-free for the whole family. We finish when we are sure that we’ve shot a full gallery of images for you.
Your session will be easy, natural and fun for everyone - I promise. When your family connects authentically, the qualities you love most about them come shining through in each portrait.
THE REVEAL SESSION
About two weeks after your session, I visit you at your home to view all of your images for the first time. This is everyone's favourite part! I will help you select your favourites and suggest wonderful ways to showcase them in your home, all while pampering you with a delicious dessert.
